We are excited to share with you the highlights from our recent event in Italy, held on 14th -15th March 2023, where participants came together to exchange ideas, analyze local best practices, and work towards crafting innovative proposals for a better Europe, addressing the topic of the digital democracy tools. Here’s a glimpse into the agenda and activities that took place over the course of two dynamic days:
DAY 1
10.30 – 11.30 – Salon of Debate: Each national group had the opportunity to showcase their local best practices, sharing inspiring stories and insights from their communities.
11.30 – 13.30 – SWOT Analysis (Part I): The morning session delved into a SWOT analysis of the four local best practices, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
15.00 – 17.00 – SWOT Analysis (Part II): Building upon the morning’s discussions, the afternoon session focused on contextualizing the identified weaknesses within the European context, paving the way for collaborative problem-solving and innovative solutions.
DAY 2
10.00 – 11.00 – Sharing 4 Building: Young candidates worked together synergistically to draft a common proposal derived from the best practices shared during the event. Through collaboration and creativity, they laid the foundation for a transformative vision for Europe.
11.00 – 13.30 – Building 4 EU: The final session of the event saw young protagonists refining and perfecting their proposal through a forum of debate and discussion. Drawing upon their diverse perspectives and expertise, they honed their ideas and prepared to present them in the broader European context.
The event in Italy was a testament to the power of collaboration, innovation, and youth-led initiatives in driving positive change. As we move forward, we carry with us the insights, inspiration, and momentum generated during these two dynamic days, ready to turn our vision into reality.
